Tom Underwood, Jr.Chief Executive Officer
A graduate of the University of Mississippi, Tom came to CSA in 2004 after 26 years at Tallahatchie Valley Electric Power Association in Batesville, Mississippi, serving 12 years as general manager. While at TVEPA, Tom served on several national and regional committees and boards with the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association and Tennessee Valley Public Power Association. On the state level, he is a past president of the Electric Power Associations of Mississippi, having served on numerous committees and the board of directors. As CSA’s general manager, Tom works hard to identify utility needs and to developing ways to address those needs.
Richard AdamsChief Client Services Officer
Richard graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Business Administration and joined the CSA staff in 1993. After beginning his career as a customer service representative, Richard moved to head the CIS re-engineering project in March of 2000. In 2011 Richard was promoted to Chief Client Services Officer where he oversees the implementation and support of all CSA systems and services.
Scott Blassingame, CPAChief Financial Officer, Secretary/Treasurer
Prior to joining the CSA staff in 1997, Scott spent eight years gaining experience as a tax and audit accountant with a regional accounting firm. Scott is a certified public accountant and serves as secretary to the board of directors, chief financial officer of the Association and as the administrator of the employee benefit plans. Scott received his Bachelor of Professional Accountancy from Mississippi State University.
Steven Dyer, CCDP, CCDA, CCNAChief Technology Officer
Steven Dyer is the chief technology officer at Central Service Association. He has more than twenty years of experience in the technology, networking and security fields. Steven has acquired many professional certifications over the years and served on several technology driven boards throughout the years. Steven is currently training on cyber-terrorism defense to all levels of public service, including state and local government, law enforcement, public utilities, colleges and universities. His skills have been put to the test many times by auditing security for banks, utilities, and government agencies. Steven received a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Mississippi State University and owned Interstate Consulting LLC before joining the CSA staff in 1998.
Roger Smith, CPE, CPSvChief Business Development Officer
Roger joined the Central Service Association (CSA) staff in 1994 as a communications specialist. In 1998 that role was incorporated into the newly formed CSA marketing department where he eventually moved into the position of marketing director. During 2010 Roger was promoted to chief business development officer where he oversees the image and promotion of CSA. In addition to his position at CSA, Roger serves as Chief Operations Officer for Professional Computer Solutions, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of CSA. Roger holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Mississippi State University and has earned both the CPSv and CPE certifications from the Tennessee Valley Public Power Association.
