New Chief Financial Officer Named

Tupelo, MS – Central Service Association (CSA) is pleased to announce, Janet Chumney as its new Chief Financial Officer.
Janet joined CSA’s General Accounting Department in 2001 and was promoted to Vice President of Accounting in March 2014. During that time, she was responsible for all aspects of CSA’s daily accounting activities including monthly closing, preparation of financial statements, as well as internal control and audit procedures.
Janet succeeds Scott Blasingame, who was recently named General Manager and CEO at CSA. “In addition to being a delight to work with, Janet has consistently proven her ability to manage a complex set of responsibilities and deliver results accurately, professionally, and on time,” said Blassingame.
In turn Janet commented, “I believe in CSA and its continued success in the future. I am confident my time at CSA has prepared me for my new role. I look forward to the challenges ahead and the satisfaction of meeting those challenges with the continued support from everyone here at CSA.”
Blasingame added, “Passion, Skill, and Integrity are the cornerstones of CSA’s mission. Janet embodies those qualities in everything she does. CSA is in good hands.”
Utilities across the Southeastern United States depend on the mission-critical, enterprise level systems provided by CSA to run their business. CSA systems and support enable utilities to reliably deliver electric, water, natural gas, and broadband service to their customers.
