Empowering Your Vision
in 2026 and Beyond

At CSA, everything begins and ends with our members.

Our commitment goes deeper than tools, technology, or services. It’s about understanding what success looks like for each of our members.
We realize every utility has its own goals, priorities, and challenges.  That’s why our theme for 2026 is Empowering Your Vision.

“To us that means committing to truly listening to our membership and the vision each member has for their utility and the customers they serve,” explained CSA Director of Member Engagement Carmen Leister. “We value the partnership we have with each of our members, and we strive to ensure our vision reflects their vision.”

A Member-First Mindset

Empowering Your Vision starts with asking better questions, to in turn better define success. If we understand your starting point and where you’re trying to go, we can better align CSA products and services to help members succeed. Our mindset focuses on long-term outcomes rather than short-term fixes.

“Our role is to help members understand how today’s decisions shape where they want to be five, ten, or fifteen years down the road,” said CSA Relationship & Member Manager Elissa Fulton. Empowering Your Vision means we are doing this together.”

Empowering Starts from Within

Key to the relationship between CSA and our members is our group of Relationship Managers and our Member Services team. “When our people are empowered, our members feel it,” Fulton explained. Empowering doesn’t mean pushing a predetermined agenda. It’s about showing what’s possible when we work together with members.

This clarity about the word Empowering creates shared accountability across our organization and shapes how we work across every department at CSA. Whether in member engagement, member services, engineering, development, or support, Empowering Your Vision encourages us to collaborate, break down silos, and focus on shared outcomes.  In the bigger picture, success comes from serving the members and their communities.

“CSA thrives when our members thrive,” said Doug Penny, Director of Member Services. “By actively listening to their needs and removing barriers, we enable our members to better serve their communities and shape a stronger future for their organizations.”

Members at the Center

Empowering Your Vision represents CSA’s commitment to putting our members at the center of everything we do.  For our members it means being heard. It means reliability, transparency, and solutions built around member input based on the real-world. The UtiliSuite GIS products are a great example of a practical solution for real world need.

“When members have a voice in actively shaping the future of the products and services they rely on,” Penny shared, “they operate more effectively, solve real community challenges, and deliver better service to their communities.”

Transforming Vision Into Solutions

The concept of Empowering Your Vision is not new to CSA. Innovation thrives when feedback is valued, ideas are shared, and everyone understands how their work contributes to a common goal.

Senior Vice President of Engineering Charles Huddleston pointed to UtiliGo (part of the UtiliSuite product line) as a prime example of how CSA turns members’ visions into practical, productive solutions that members can use and that communities can benefit from. UtiliGo was born from utilities’ desire to view maps and update in the field on mobile devices.

“When a vision is empowered, the results are tangible and transformative,” Huddleston said. “It leads to a more engaged and motivated workforce, sparks greater innovation and resilience, and drives sustainable high-level performance.”

Looking Ahead to 2026

As CSA moves into 2026 and beyond, Empowering Your Vision will guide how we collaborate internally, develop solutions, and partner with members. Ultimately, Empowering Your Vision is about partnership. It’s about trust, shared accountability, and the belief that when our members thrive, their communities thrive. We’re in this together, and we’re committed to helping our members realize their vision.
