At Bolivar Energy Authority (BEA) in Tennessee, OMS was recently integrated with their Automatic Vehicle Location feature, which utilizes GPS technology to show on a map exactly where each truck is located. OMS allows utilities to see the locations of outages in a given area, but this specific integration allows BEA employees to see, in addition, if a truck is close to the vicinity of the outage, and how long it might take to get there.

Another unique and useful feature of OMS is that it allows users to look back over a user-defined period and replay the outages to see when and where they occurred. The ability to go back and see the timespan of an outage really comes in handy in the aftermath of a storm.
